真的要把Christian和Gloria的身份具体化，确实就是MV中展现的那样。C和G在现实中的身份，在《21st Century Breakdown》里就暗示了——美国的工人阶/级。但是他们背后所代表的意义就不仅仅是如此了。
还有，值得一提的是，在AI中，如我先前说说，人物情节都有一个非常清晰的脉络，但21st却是没有官方的说法，只有一个模糊的轮廓，内里也只能通过种种暗示、典故来理解。构成AI的是故事，构成21的是概念。具体来说就是，21以宗教和文化为前提来塑造人物和故事，从性格、身份到名字，都并非是在确定主题之前先创作的。而宗教文化无疑都是非常抽象的东西，很难在一个短短的MV里完全展现。
