Tengile’s daughter has officially been named Masungulo, meaning "the beginning" - a fitting name as she embarks on her journey into adulthood.
Now at the age where she spends most of her time alone, Masungulo is on the brink of independence. She will soon need to find her own space to explore and build confidence before eventually establishing a territory of her own. Recently, we've seen her frequently, sometimes still meeting up with her mother. In one memorable sighting, she playfully stalked hyenas under Tengile’s watchful eye - taking advantage of these final moments of carefree youth while she still can.
