它这种选题不合理，填sure可以，如字典例句 The exhibition is sure to be popular. 主要区别是【视角】，sure算主观视角，而certain是个客观视角。

be sure + that从句，主语必须是人，不可以说It is sure that...，要改成It is certain that...。但令我不解的是，下图中虽已明确说明“不可说It is sure that he will come”，但下面又来了一个例句：It is sure that he will pass his exam。这两句不是一回事吗？通过查阅其他资料后发现，比较全面的说法应该是：“偶尔有人用It is sure that...，但多数人认为这样用是错误的，应改为It is certain that...。”
