春播秋收，一年只有一次。然而，念头随时随地都在产生，因而随时随地都在播撒心灵的种子。若一分钟产生10个显而易见的念头，一个小时就是600个念头，一天就有近万个念头。念念念念之间，一个人就在与身边的一切建立了心与心的链接。长久下去，就会与他人与社会建立善恶交织、错综复杂的关系。
深深明白了这个真理，就绝不敢染污他人，乃至于出现一个不好的念头，都会马上反省。因为只要有不好的念头产生，在条件成熟时，必定会变成相应的语言行动，必然会伤害他人。另一方面，不好的念头让心中的不明和贪欲变得越加严重，则心变得更加阴暗，其结果必定是充满烦恼和痛苦的人生。而所有这一切都是咎由自取，自作自受。电视剧《雍正王朝》中有这样一句台词：“世间万苦，人最苦。”烦恼和痛苦人生的主要根源就是不明白人生重大秘密和重大真理这两个真相所导致的！
Every year, farmers sow in the spring and harvest in the autumn. However, since we develop thoughts and intentions at any time and any place, we are constantly sowing the seeds of the heart-mind. If an individual produces 10 distinct thoughts every minute, he will produce 600 thoughts every hour and almost 10,000 thoughts every day. With each and every thought, we are building a heart-to-heart connection with everything around us. Over time, we will develop an intricate web of connections with society and other people that consists of both the good and bad.
Once we realize what this truth entails, we will never dare to pollute others again, and introspect on all the bad thoughts that arise. This is because when the time is right, all negative thoughts are bound to turn into corresponding words or actions, ultimately hurting others. Moreover, negative thoughts will worsen the ignorance and greed in our heart-mind, cover us with a depressing, dark veil and cause us to lead a life filled with annoyances and pain. However, all these sufferings are self-inflicted. A line from the TV drama Yongzheng Dynasty goes, “Of all the sufferings in this world, humans suffer the most.” Not understanding the vital secret and vital truth of life is the reason behind a life that is filled with worrying and pain!

以圣贤的心为心。如今，留学生活再繁忙，我也很少再焦虑。因为我愈加明白，“在光明的世界中，黑暗中的问题原本就不存在。”心的纯度决定了我们世界的模样。随着在明心、净心上下功夫，我们所处的世界将更加清净、美好与庄严，我们与他人也更加心心相印。
此生为中国人，读圣贤书，看生命的春夏秋冬，我无限感恩。
