On February 1, 2016, HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark visited Slagelse Red Cross Center to monitor the work of the network project “War against loneliness” (Vaerket) that has been jointly developed by The Mary Foundation and Red Cross. The purpose of the project is to make Danish people suffering from long time loneliness meet new people and socialize.
