瞿昙寺，国家级重点文物保护单位。位于青海省乐都县城南21公里处的马圈沟口。背依罗汉山，面临瞿昙河，北傍松花顶，南望照碑山，是一组古色古香的明代建筑群。自明洪武年间创建迄今，已历600多个春秋。这座寺，以雄浑古朴、文物珍贵和拥有高度艺术价值的巨幅彩色壁画驰名西北，被信仰藏传佛教的藏、蒙古、土等民族景仰为佛教圣地，迢迢远来，进香朝拜；也是青海省最著名的花儿盛会区之一。
