徽州人很注重建筑周围的装饰以及村庄内的美化，徽州建筑每一处都是经过精心雕琢的。
The people in Hui state is care about the beautify
and adornment, every where they design diligently.
徽州人好“面子”，所以对于墙壁以及自家大门附近的装饰下了很大的功夫，他们通常在墙壁上刻画不同的画案文字来祈福。
They are very care about ‘face’ so they adornment
the wall and the doorway. They always print the different words and pictures to
pray.
每家门口的屋檐层数代表着这一家在古时候的地位，五层屋檐代表着在村中最高的地位。The numbers of the eaves is represent the status. The 5 eaves is the best.I

至今徽州村落的大多数男人在成年后依旧会出村打工，村里基本是老幼妇孺。

一些风景秀丽的村落被开发成旅游区，而村里的人在获得旅游产业带来的收入的同时获得了就业机会，承担起维护秩序打扫村子的责任

当然，他们也会售卖当地的特色商品以及食物。

但是由于年青人都喜欢到大城市去生活，村里还是不可避免的出现了年龄断层。
But the young man like to alive in the big
city, they had to have age fault.

一般只有母亲和老人，孩子在家里，而当孩子长大之后他们的父亲会把他们带到大城市去生活接受更好的教育。在这个时代很少有人愿意贫穷的生活在离大城市很远的小村落中
