General information
Pictured at left is the Confederate Senior Officers Uniform Double Breasted Frock Coat (frockcoat) for a Surgeon / Medical Officer with optional Sash. It is of the style that was worn by most C.S. Officers. Several wool colors are featured at the base price and some higher quality wools are available at extra cost. An Officers grade was distinguished by the number of rows of sleeve braid (General Officer - 4 rows, Senior Officer - 3 rows, Company Officer - 2 rows or Junior Officer - 1 row), his branch (Artillery, Cavalry, Engineer, Infantry or Staff) by the trim color and his rank by his collar insignia.
